The National Rural Health Students' Network (NRHSN) represents 29 Rural Health Clubs (RHC) with over 9000 members located at universities throughout Australia. The NRHSN is a multidisciplinary Network.

Student Awards presented at NURHC 08

Rural Health Workforce Australia Award for outstanding contribution to a RHC 

Rural Health Workforce Australia is proud to announce the inaugural award recognising outstanding dedication and leadership to a Rural Health Club.

Nick Knowles and Aleem Khalfan, two founding members of CRANC RHC were awarded this inaugural award.

Rural Health Workforce Australia & National Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation Award for outstanding contribution to Indigenous Communities

Rural Health Workforce Australia together with National Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation are proud to announce the inaugural award recognising outstanding contribution to Indigenous Communities.

Marion Davies, Rustica was selected by NACCHO and RHWA as the most deserving applicant of this award.

Janie Dade Smith Award

The Janie Dade Smith Award will again be awarded in 2008, after being held for the first time at the 2007 NRHSN Forum.   This award is to recognise and encourage those students who are contributing to rural, remote and Indigenous health.  The award is strongly multidisciplinary and is open to all rural health club members.

Rural Health Club Event of the Year

Congratulations to AURHA, FURHS and ROUSTAH who were awarded the Rural Health Club Event of the Year for 2007 for their annual SA conference Campfire 07
