Rural Health Workforce Australia

Rural Health Workforce Australia (RHWA) is contracted by the Department of Health and Ageing (DoHA) to manage the program, National Rural Health Students’ Network (NRHSN).  RHWA is responsible for the NRHSN contractually, financially and legally and is required to report to DoHA on the NRHSN financials and achievements at regular intervals.

RHWA seeks input and guidance on the priorities, activities and professional operation of the NRHSN so that it stays informed about the key issues for the future health workforce.  RHWA is committed to working with the NRHSN wherever possible to promote rural practice.  It is the common values and vision we have for rural Australia that makes the partnership between RHWA and the NRHSN so positive.

The following RHWA staff are responsible for the management and coordination of the NRHSN program.
