The National Rural Health Students' Network (NRHSN) represents 25 Rural Health Clubs (RHC) with over 6500 members located at universities throughout Australia. The NRHSN is a multidisciplinary Network.

Council Position Descriptions

The search is on for additions to the NRHSN Council.  The following listed positions are now open for applications from any member of a Rural Health Club.  No prior involvement in the NRHSN Council is required for any of these positions.

  • Community and Advocacy Portfolio Advisor / NRHA Liason Officer (Senior)
  • Community and Advocacy Portfolio Advisor / NRHA Liason Officer (Junior)
  • Australian Rural Health Education Network Liaison Officer
  • NRHSN Sponsorship Internal Officer
  • NRHSN Publications Internal Officer
  • NRHSN Marketing Internal Officer
  • NRHSN Media Internal Officer

Applications should include your name and contact details, your previous experience in your RHC or the NRHSN including activities that you've been involved in and your level of involvement (organiser, participant, speaker etc).  The application should also address the key selection criteria in the Position Descriptions for the role you are applying for.  Applications and/or queries should be forwarded to NRHSN Secretary, Matt Cane.  

We'd love to hear from interested members of teh Network, and previous experience is not required - just an enthusiasm for the role and for rural and remote health!  So if you're interested but not sure what is involved please contact the NRHSN exec for more information.
