RUSTICA

Rustica is Latin for rural, and that is what we are all about. Our ultimate goal is to encourage health science students to work in a rural area after graduation. We aim to achieve this by exposing them to the rural lifestyle, improving their skill base, funding rural placements, and by reaching out particularly to those students who come from a rural background.

Practice in a rural setting requires maintaining your own wellbeing, and as such, running social functions is a major part of Rustica's portfolio, in particular promoting mental health issues. A few of the many events we organise include RHSV's, edutainment camps, quiz nights, scholarship info nights, and our famous clinical skills nights.
