Appendix 4: Working with children checks

Most health courses with clinical placements usually require background checks and clearance to work with children. Most of the working with children checks require a national police check which is available online for a small fee as well as current identification. All states except WA have online application forms. If in doubt contact the compliance section of your university for advice. (Current 2019).
