Welcome to Rural Health Positive (Rh+)! We’re a brand new cross-campus CSU rural health club. We’re here to promote and advocate for rural and rural health workforce issues to our students and our local community. We aim to support you, and your health discipline club through scholarships, health and cultural training programs, and interdisciplinary networking opportunities. Most importantly we seek to engage and support our rural and indigenous communities through rural high school visits and an indigenous cultural event annually.
Welcome to RHPositive
The National Rural Health Student Network
Rural Health Positive (Rh+) is a new university-wide rural health club at CSU. We promote health study, professional development, pre-placement support and interdisciplinary collaboration. Rh+ aims to reshape the narrative surrounding rural health training and employment, fostering vibrancy and diversity in the lifeblood of rural health, its emerging health practitioners.
We aim to circulate, promote and advocate rural health issues. Through scholarships and training programs, such as first aid and mental health first aid, we hope to support health students during their studies. The multidisciplinary approach is fundamental to health care, therefore we hope to provide young professionals with interdisciplinary networking opportunities. Most importantly our goals to engage with the rural and indigenous communities through rural high school visits and an indigenous cultural event.
