TROHPIQ is a Queensland-based Rural Health Club dedicated to helping health students experience the unique career and lifestyle opportunities to be found beyond the big town of Brisbane.
TROHPIQ encompasses a wide range of students and health professionals from a variety of disciplines, including medicine, nursing and allied health. Our members are made up of students from UQ, QUT, ACU, USC, CQU and USQ. Founded in 1994, TROHPIQ continues to promote rural clinical education, rural and remote practice and rural and Indigenous health issue awareness. TROHPIQ provides numerous opportunities for networking and professional development for health students throughout the state.

Founded in 1994, TROHPIQ continues to promote rural clinical education, rural and remote practice and rural and indigenous health issue awareness, and provides numerous support services for students of various health disciplines throughout the state.

By becoming a member of your Rural Health Club, you are also a member of the National Rural Health Student Network (NRHSN). The NRHSN represents the future of rural health in Australia. It has more than 9,000 members who belong to 29 university Rural Health Clubs from all states and territories. It is Australia’s only multi-disciplinary student health network, bringing together people studying medicine, nursing and allied health, encouraging them to pursue rural health careers. It is important to keep your details up-to-date to ensure your RHC and the NRHSN can keep you informed of everything exciting that’s happening in rural health.
