Looking after your mental health
As a member of your Rural Health Club and therefore the NRHSN, you can access the NRHSN’s Mental Health Guide: When the cowpat hits the windmill, a guide written by students, for students.
The Guide provides useful tips on how to stay mentally fit and gives troubleshooting ideas for when you may encounter problems.
Join in on your local Rural Health Club’s mental health activities such as Mental Health First Aid or Mental Health Wellbeing. Attending these activities can give you the tools to identify people with mental health problems and also to assess how you are feeling.
Mental Health Week is 9 – 15 October 2016 and is a great opportunity to reflect and connect with your community.
