2017 Aust. Dental Association Foundation Community Grants now open

The Wrigley Company Foundation and the Australian Dental Association Foundation (ADAF) 2017 Community Service Grants opened for submissions on 20 March 2017.

The Community Service Grants will offer US$82,000 in funding to support dentists, dental students and teams of dental professionals to deliver oral health community service and education in high risk populations across Australia.

There are thirteen Grants available across two categories*:

  • 12 x US$6,000 for registered dental professionals or currently enrolled dental students
  • 1 x US$10,000 for ‘Principles in Action’ to help activate larger scale projects

The Community Service Grants program is a valuable opportunity to support disadvantaged people from the community and reduce the stigma attached with poor oral health.

Full eligibility criteria and application forms are available via the ADAF website www.adaf.org.au. Applications close on 5 June 2017.

*It is at the discretion of the Wrigley Company Foundation and the Australian Dental Association Foundation to determine the amount of funds dispersed and the number of grant recipients based on the merit of applications received.
