What is TROHPIQ?
TROHPIQ is Southern Queensland's Rural Health Club for medical, allied health, nursing and dentistry students. Students are primarily from the University of Queensland and Queensland University of Technology. We also welcome members from University of Southern Queensland, Sunshine Coast University as well as other institutions. Founded in 1994, TROHPIQ continues to promote rural clinical education, rural and remote practice and rural and indigenous health issue awareness, and provides numerous support services for students of all health disciplines throughout the state.
TROHPIQ members are also automatically members of the National Rural Health Students Network which provides communications with the 28 university Rural Health Clubs across Australia and is active at the national level.
